State of the League

 

Two rounds to go and Pineapple Pizza Connoisseurs have taken the lead with 6 undefeated rounds! Now only 8 contenders fight for the first place. 

 

Quick updates on the other leagues:

  • #rapid-battle: Registrations are ongoing and we expect to start soon.
  • About the format: there will be 4 or 8 initial small groups (3 to 5 people) where people will play round-robin (during 1st week or so) in order to qualify for further knock-out system.
    First 2 places of each group will qualify and play typical knock-out to reach 1st place.

    Within initial RR groups each one plays each opponent 1 time, but within knock-out system it's 2 games (black and white). Final can be played with 4 games.
    Time control is 15+10.

    The channel is the same: #rapid-battle. To register one should express his/her desire to play there. We urge participants to take it seriously (i.e. actually play their games after they register.)

    The scheduling system will be the same as lichess4545/lonewolf/series: you will have to reach your opponent and find a time to play together before the dead line: 3-4 games within certain amount of time, supposedly 10 days or a bit more - but no chesster bot will be there to help you (for now.)

    Expected duration of the tournament is 1 month.
